My Kohl's Shopping Haul

I've been casually looking for shorts with which to try the shorts with tights look, and I've found the perfect ones--these Daisy Fuentes shorts. Hey, the model's even wearing the shorts with black tights and shoes, neat.

Another thing I've been looking for was a dress to wear to a wedding at a winery in Atlanta in a couple weeks. I stopped at one Kohl's and found an OK dress, but then I stopped at the next Kohl's on the way home and found two purple dresses I actually really like--both of them are Apt. 9. I saw a friend of mine in the beige version of the second one, and she looked AMAZING in it. I was delighted to find that I didn't look too shabby in it myself.

And of course, I can't forget my little girl. I got her a dress for the wedding and a new outfit for hanging out with her grandma this weekend. Although come to think of it, I'm not sure if she's actually invited to the wedding--I should figure that out.

One thing I didn't buy this time but definitely will sometime soon was this Elle blazer. I keep finding the eggshell in size XL in stores, which is too big in the shoulders on me. I may have to try out the Kohl's kiosk thing in the store sometime to avoid shipping. But I love this blazer--it's like a sweatshirt material, so it's not too business-y, which I like. I'm hoping the Large will fit correctly.

Also, I've been wanting to try on Jennifer Lopez's pleated ponte dress, but I haven't found it in any of the three Kohl's on my way home from work. Has anyone tried this on? Last time I checked, there was only small left online, but now there's XL. Hmm, tempting. It looks short, though.
