One of hubs’ uncles is known for being hi-larious, inappropriate, and boisterious. I was in his car on the way back from the wedding Saturday, along with hubs, sis- and bro-in-law. Sis brought up the topic of peopleofwalmart.com, and I announced that I had recently learned what a FUPA was. (Honestly, I had looked it up on urbandictionary.com after seeing it mentioned on the
Man Repeller a couple times.) I believe everyone else already knew was it was except for maybe hubs and bro. So we were all laughing about FUPAs for a good five minutes of the hour and half drive home from the wedding.
Anyway, my point is, I’ve always (since 8th grade at least) steered clear of tucking shirts into pants for two reasons: 1. The mom butt, and 2. the FUPA. But I gave it a shot today and made sure to suck in my stomach whenever necessary and untuck the back of the shirt a little. I’m all for trying things outside of my comfort zone, but this is something I will probably not be going back to any time soon.
Looks kind of cute on Vanessa Hudgens, though, eh?

Welcome to the magical world of fupa's. Now you will see them everywhere just like mullets. Oh and if you haven't already discovered Yo Gaba Gaba..one of the characters name is "Foofa" and I always always always wanna do a spit take when I hear them say her name. Totally doesn't sound like foofa in the cartoony voices.
ReplyDeleteah yes, the fupa! i feel the same way about tucked in shirts...but this is actually a great look on you! very put together and flattering!
ReplyDeleteI love People of Walmart but wasn't sure what FUPA was so I just urban dictionary-d it- ah ha! Now is it the same as a muffin top? Regardless you look beautiful- I love the pale yellow top!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know what a FUPA was either...so you and urban dictionary have enlightened me! LOL Wow, now I'm afraid I'll be on the lookout. I don't think this tuck looks bad at all...very put together and neat. The blouse's sleeves are very cool. Good job with your interpretation!
ReplyDeleteI love this interpretation. The leopard belt is just the perfect accent.
ReplyDeletehehe nice! Have you ever tried the half tuck? I did a post about it recently... I think it is a cool look
ReplyDeleteI've tried the partial tuck a couple times with skirts, but not with pants. That would at least conceal part of the FUPA/mom butt problem, hehe.
