More Babies!

I have a different location in these pictures because my husband had a friend over at the time, so I didn't want to take picture in the kitchen. Although I could've--they were both engrossed in Gears of War. As far as I'm concerned, loudest video game ever.

Here's the inspiration photo for today for Inspiration Monday:

And here's my interpretation:
Top and Scarf: Target; Blazer: Kohl's; Jeans: Old Navy; Shoes: Famous Footwear

Besides the annoyingly loud video games once I got home Friday, I had a very nice weekend. After work, I picked up Bridget, and we went to visit one of my BFFs and her new baby at the hospital! That's the second friend's newborn baby I got to hold this month, and the baby girls' names both start with El- I just realized! Yay for babies.

Saturday in the morning, I took the dog to the dog park, and then my mom came over to make the ravioli for Thanksgiving. We do usually have turkey for Thanksgiving, but that's more of a side dish. The main event is homemade ravioli. Guaranteed the best ravioli I've ever had. It's a family recipe from the Italian side, and I look forward to it every Thanksgiving. Along with my mom's super yummy sweet potatoes.

Sunday was mom's night, and we checked out Honeypie in Bayview for dessert. Two of us got cupcakes, and the other two got pie. All four of us were very happy with our decisions. The desserts were excellent--I'd be curious to know how their other food is.

  4. I can also relate to loud video games. I've got three boys, aged 12, 14 and 45. ;-) There is always someone who wants to play something loud.
Your outfit is very cute. Wearing yellow is so much fun, I think we should all do it more often.

  5. That sounds like a great weekend. I usually have to hide when my boyfriend breaks out the videogames, they're too annoying for me I can't be in the same room. I really like this yellow top on you, I was wishing I had something like it to wear myself, but I ended up in blue. Happy Monday :)

  7. Haha seems like a lot of people have loud gamers in their lives.

Thanksgiving is next week--we make the ravioli ahead of time and freeze them since it takes awhile to do.
