My Five...er...Four Favorite Books

Fashion Beauty Friend Friday

The first two are easy:

1. Pride and Prejudice. I can’t get enough of the Elizabeth Bennett/Mr. Darcy tension.

2. The Magic Christmas. Cheesy? Yes. Written for 10-year-olds? Yes. But I will always and forever love this book. Whenever I read it, I feel inspired to write my old tween novel. And then, I get uninspired shortly after that, but that’s beside the point.

We’ll go with these for the next two:

3. The Harry Potter series. I’d have to reread them to know which book is my favorite. I know Prizoner of Azkaban is my favorite movie (3rd one) of the series, though. I used to think it was 5, but after re-watching, definitely 3. Although I love the Twilight movies, too, the books aren’t going to make the list. They’re just not the type of books I’d want to read over and over, like the Harry Potter ones.

4. Little Women. I only finished this book last year after starting to read it half a dozen times in my childhood. I just got bored by the time the little women grew up. But now, as a grown up, that’s the part I was looking forward to the most. Now that I’ve actually finished the book, I’d definitely read it again someday.

As for the last one...

...I can’t think of a fifth favorite book at the moment.

  1. Ditto on HP! I had to include Harry in my list, but only listed HP7 as it was my most recent read. I've never read Pride & Prejudice, despite my lack of trying! I have a hard time getting into the style of writing even though I love the story! Great post!
