One of Those Lazy Hair and No Makeup Days

These pictures were still before I realized I had a dirty lens.

Top: Lela Rose for Target; Cardigan: Costco; Skirt: New York & Company; Necklace: H&M;
Tights: Assets by Spanx (Kohl's); Shoes: Kohl's; Bracelets: Wantable and Target
(That's my dog's ear there by my feet.)

I've been really lazy as far as makeup goes this week. That's really nothing new, but it's even more apparent in these indoor with-flash pictures. I have to get my money's worth out of this Lela Rose for Target top, though, especially now that everything from that collection is 70% off. I almost never buy things full priced, and I think I need to stick to that strategy in the future.

By the way, for anyone who needs a good tights recommendation, I just bought these Assets by Spanx ones, and they are pretty good – comfortable, no sagging – although they do have a small snag in them already. My only complaint is that they smell weird. Not necessarily bad, they just have this strong smell to them that I'm hoping goes away after I wash them.

  1. I really, really wanted to buy the Neiman Marcus cape yesterday since it was on sale yesterday for $23 and looks adorable on me. It is wool though, which makes me itch.

  2. i love your lela rose top! I knew the collection was 50 percent off but now 70? I think I need to go shop...makes me regret buying my marc jacobs pouch for 35 when I could have gotten it cheaper but oh well! Oh and its good to give your skin some time to breath! So props for no makeup!

  3. That Lela Rose top is so pretty. I do hope you wear it a lot; it's just too cute.

    Your Assets tights smell funny? Really? I have a couple pairs of them and I never had that issue. Mine are from a couple years back; maybe it's a problem with the newer ones. So weird.

    1. Oddly yes! I don't know how to describe the smell. New? Rubbery? I don't know.
