Popping In

It seems to me that every summer (or late spring) I get bad at blogging because I'm so busy doing other things and my focus is more on concerts and vacations. Mostly concerts. If I remember correctly, I felt about the same way last year, too, although my number of posts don't reflect that. Maybe it's not a summer thing; maybe it's an "I'm busy with life" thing. That makes sense.

Also, lately I've been realizing once again how over-saturated the style blogger market is. Which is fine and cool because there's something for everyone - it's just causing me to question my worth and belonging in it. I'm sure I'll stick with it for a little while longer, though. I'm just having a lull.

I did want to pop in because I wore an outfit today inspired by another blogger (Classy Girls Wear Pearls) and also did a no-heat beach waves hair tutorial from Pinterest, originally from Song of Style.

Top: Old Navy; Skirt and Shoes: L.L.Bean; Belt: Michael Kors; Bracelets: Pandora and Mexicali Blues

This belt over skirt thing drives me crazy by the way. I always have to double-sided tape the heck out of my belt whenever I attempt this look, and then it bugs me all day.

  2. Well, I personally like having you in the saturated style blogger market. I generally avoid feeling that way because I remind myself my blog is for me, not everyone else. When it gets to be only for other people, that's when I'll stop.

In other news, where can I see more of those shoes? They're really cute! Are they flats?

    1. Thanks, Jess! Right back at ya.

      They're actually low-heeled wedges!
