Dill Rice

T-shirt: Target; Blazer and Cami: Kohl's; Pants and Watch: NY&Co; Shoes: Poetic License via (shoo); Necklace: made by Elise (Thanks again, Elise!); Bangles: Kate Spade

I tried Persian food for the first time today. I went to Shiraz Persian Grill on the East Side (right by Cold Stone! I was good and didn't go there, though) for lunch with some coworkers, one of whom is originally from Iran. There were tons of choices, so it was nice that he was able to give us suggestions on what to try.

Dill anything is a-OK with me, so I was pretty interested in trying out dill rice. To accompany my rice, I had chicken and beef kabobs, which were good, and some falafel (not Persian, but tasty all the same). As my second side option, I chose fruit salad. It was fun to try something different for a change.

Come to think of it, I should've Instagram-ed my lunch plate in addition to my jewelry today.

  1. Lunch sounds like it was delicious! I'm a big dill fan too so I might need to try my own version of the dill rice sometime. & I want Kate Spade bangles! But I worry that my hands are too giant for me to squeeze into them... :(

    1. Nah, you should try them! I was worried about the same thing, but the two I got are surprisingly roomy. I have pretty big hands myself. I'll try to remember to measure the bracelets when I get home and let you know how big they are.
