Donate. Yeah, I'll give you that one. Short-sleeve cardigans don't make a whole lot of sense, and this isn't even the only one I have.

Can you tell I'm trying to find creative ways to make my short-sleeve sweaters work for winter? The brand of this one is Sweater Project, and I acquired it from a swap. From Googling the brand name, it looks like it might be from a department store like Macy's, Sears, or Boston Store.
Keep. I'm pretty sure this shrunk in the wash at some point. Up until recently, I hadn't been very good at checking the washing instructions on garment tags, and I noticed when I put this on yesterday that it said hand wash only and don't dry. I've definitely just washed and dried it normally in the past, and the band at the bottom is tighter than it probably once was. However, it's stretchy, and I do like the shape of it with the dolman sleeves.
Today's sweater:
From a decent hair day to a bad hair day and wrinkly pants. Bangs are unpredictable things sometimes. As for this outfit, I tried on probably five different shirts trying to make this sweater and blazer combination work, and I still don't think it really does. The Lela Rose for Target+Neiman Marcus lace top looks good with both the cardigan and the blazer, but not all together I don't think. Oh well, you can't win 'em all.
Donate. I have a theory. The cardigans I button up tend to get voted off, and the cardigans I leave open I pretty much always get to keep. That's probably because most of my cardigans have been through the wash a hundred times, and as a result are a little too small, but you can't really tell when they're unbuttoned. I do wear this cardigan a lot, but it could be time to replace it with a different boyfriend cardigan in another color. I don't really look that great in gray anyway. At least I got to keep my shorter gray cardigan, which I prefer anyway.

I was a big fan of the Inspiration Monday photo for...yesterday. The look felt very me even though I was copying Elizabeth Olsen.
Skirt: Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl's; Jacket: Walgreens; Tights: Assets by Spanx; Booties: Steve Madden
And here's the sweater you're voting on today:
Necklace: Target; Bracelet: c/o Wantable
I found the light! It only took my two years of blogging...Tyra would be proud. Heh. I wore this sweater tucked in all day, but I wanted to untuck it to show you the tie detail, which is on both sides.
I have no idea where I got this, but the brand is Royalty.
You have until the end of the day to vote on these, but it's looking pretty definitive right now. Sweater: Donate. Dress: Keep. My husband comments negatively on this dress whenever I wear it, but sorry honey. It's sticking around! The sweater, however, is not. And I'm fine with that.
Keep. I have to be honest. I like this sweater, but the pockets do weird things sometimes. They're definitely for decoration only. Plus there's a teeny tiny hole in the hip (easily fixable if I take the time to do it), and the sleeves are a little too short. Otherwise, I do like this sweater.
Something a little different today:
The way my husband reacted to this outfit yesterday (you can use your imagination as to whether it was positive or negative) led me to decide to open votes up for not only the sweater today, but also the dress. So feel free to take a look at the pics below and cast your vote on both pieces.
Keep. I have to get back to cleaning the house and folding laundry while listening to the Fleetwood Mac album my husband put on, but I wanted to get this post up quick. It's a keep for the maternity cardigan! Alright, moving on.
To give myself more motivation, I signed up for a Biggest Loser type competition at work with a coworker I do yoga with and her husband. It's a 10-week competition with 51 teams participating, and the team that loses the most body fat (averaged among the three teammates) wins. Even if we don't win, hopefully this challenge will give me the push I need to lose the 13 lb to my short-term goal weight.
On Tuesday we attended a meeting to get the basics about the challenge, take a team picture (I convinced my team to do a pyramid in ours, haha), and measure our body fat. The fitness coach running the session said that 3% body fat lost would be great results to have at the end, so I guess that's my goal although I care more about the weight numbers myself. It should be totally doable to lose 13 lb in 10 weeks.
Since the last time I did the health screening 2 weeks ago, I found that my BMI and body fat numbers went down. Normally that'd be great, but I was trying to get them up to have more to lose for the challenge. It may be because I was 29 then, and I put 30 in for my age to generate my numbers this time, AND I put 5'10-1/2" for my height instead of 5'10". I'm trying to be accurate here. Plus, I somehow lost 2 lb since my health screening.
So anyway, here goes nothing! Hopefully I don't let my team down!
Keep. Although some of you were not on board with the styling (I understand; it's a lot of look), most of you agree that my 9-year-old cardigan should stick around in my closet a little while longer.

To get a better idea of what this sweater looks like, here's how I wore it in March, April, May, July, and September.
I meant to post about the concert my friends and I went to on my birthday in detail, but I just haven't gotten around to it. So I'll just sum it up by saying it was awesome, the guys in Miggs are incredibly sweet to their fans and incredibly fun and entertaining, and thank goodness for that hotel room before and after the show.
Here's what the four of us girls wore:
And T's cute outerwear:
During the show before we moved to front row: There were tables, and no one was standing by the stage. A couple songs in, I asked the security guy if we could go up there, and he said it was fine.
View from front row:
Crowd picture their tour manager, Jensen, took during the show:
My video: Look for a shoutout from Don at about the 30-second mark (sorry for the vertical video).
E's video of the same song, where you can see me dancing like an idiot a couple times: We actually befriended the fan standing next to me, who was probably super annoyed with me when I stepped right in front of her at one point in this video.
Us girls with the Miggs fellas:
My 30th birthday was definitely one to be remembered! Thanks for making it awesome, ladies and also Don, Walker, John, Michael, and of course Jensen for putting me on the list! I can't wait to see them again in April. They're on tour starting next month, and I highly recommend you go see a show if they'll be in your area.
