As an editor and a long-time lover of language, I was pretty excited to learn that today is National Grammar Day. I had aspirations of doing a fun video with prepositions, but with a kid and life in general, that just didn't happen. Check out some Grammar Day fun posted by Grammar Girl.

ReplyDeleteTo be completely honest, I have to stop reading posts or blog entries that have atrocious grammar or spelling. I'm pretty sure I stopped posting on one forum mainly because of the recurring incorrect apostrophe placement. I mean, over half of the posters didn't understand that an apostrophe indication possession. They genuinely thought it was the correct plural form of the word. Ugh. End rant, sorry!
