1999
I was in a girl group with three of my besties called Blissful Innocence, and we met and sang for one of our favorite boy bands, No Authority. I thought I wrote a whole concert experience, but I didn't. So you're spared of a really, really wordy entry for now. You won't be so lucky later this week.
2006
My now husband and I officially became boyfriend and girlfriend! Wow, he looks really young. I must've aged him, haha.
Whhhaaatt??!!! You were in a girl band! I love it!!!! Any chance of a reunion??
ReplyDeleteHeck no! We had like four rehearsals and no actual performances. I think we had more photo shoots than rehearsals, actually.
ReplyDeleteWe did have a performance.... we sang to No Authority and didn't we sing at your church too?!?!
ReplyDeleteI don't count singing for No Authority as a performance really. We talked about singing at my church, but we never did. We did however sing for Billy Crawford, too.
ReplyDeleteMatt looks soooooooooo much younger when we first met too. I just think they got some poor aging genes!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that's fantastic! I was in a girl group with my friends right around 1999 as well! We were called Vision, and our "singing" mostly involved lip synching to the Spice Girls. I don't remember much else, but I do know camouflage was huge. Oh the 90s...
ReplyDeleteI love your girl group name!
ReplyDeleteSarah - No way! That's awesome! Gotta love the Spice Girls. The same year as Blissful Innocence, the girls and I dressed up as the Spice Girls for Halloween--I was Scary Spice.
ReplyDeleteMrs T - I don't know, Nate's parents aged pretty well. Nate's two gray hairs are probably my doing though. Hehe.
